Back on the Farm – What is it?

This is a Swans Down Cake Flour Cake Pan from the 1930s and 1940s. Estimated Retail Value $35.  Now I know most of you readers don’t bake cakes anymore but if you did this one is very unique.  The sides lift up so you can get the cake out especially when they  stick and have to use a knife. Yes, back in the good old days cakes did stick once in awhile.  This one is made by E. Katzinger Co., Chicago.  They really knew what they were doing back in my day as far as making kitchen gadgets.  Has anyone ever use one of these?  If anyone is still using one of these drop off a cake at Holly Hill Antiques 695-1146 or call the comments line at GLO-Clips.
