This is a Camp
Stove from the 20s and 30s. Estimated
Retail Value is $95. This
kerosene stove was used for cooking and burned for days.
As a boy growing up on the farm during the depression we were
allowed to go camping but weren’t always allowed to have an open fire
– so this is what we used. This
stove works great when cooking up a freshly picked batch of borrowed field
corn from the neighbor. Hey
– does anyone go camping anymore?
You don’t see many of these around anymore – and it doesn’t
say Coleman Has anyone
ever used one of these or have an interesting story - Give us a call at
Holly Hill Farm Antiques 695-1146 or call the comments line at GLO-Clips.
