Back on the Farm – What is it?

This is a Fly Catcher Jar from the early 1900s. Estimated Retail Value $10 - $20.  Our price is $18.

Back in the good old days - people did not use fancy sprays to kill their bug.  They lined the inside of this bottle with something sweet or molasses and the fly go under and up the hole and then they can't get out.  Bottle has a cork on top to empty the jar when full.  These thing really worked.   You don't see these very often.  This is a nice primitive that is very collectible.
