This is a Oxen Trainer from the latter 1800's. Estimated Retail Value is $50 to $90. This one is priced at $65 The heavier side was up over the shoulder. Training began early to get the young oxen ready to pull a plow. Animals in the old days need to work as the farmer could not afford to keep livestock that did not help the farmer profit. This is a very rare item to find today and is one of the first that I have seen in years.
