on the Farm – What is it?
This is an Old Electric Toaster from the 1920s or 1930s. Estimated Retail Value $35 - $65. This are highly collectible today and there were all makes and models - both simple and fancy. Now I sometimes feel that the good old days are better than today – this is one time I’ll take the new toaster every time. These things are hard to use. These toaster only cook the toast on one side at a time and there was no timer. So if you got distracted – the toast burn up. This happened quit often. While this toaster was a big improvement over toasting the bread on the wood stove – there is no comparison to today’s toaster.
